Our bore water .. .. YUK!!

Take a look at this water! It looks absolutely disgusting doesn't it?!?! This is a photo Mark asked me to take last night after he ran the taps for a bath.

That is what our bore water (artesian water) looks like at times. Now don't get me wrong the water comes out of the bore crystal clear. It has iron in it and the iron in the water turns to rust once the air hits it. You can even smell the iron in the water.

We have to bathe, wash the dishes and clean our clothes in it. Thankfully we have rain water to drink and cook with.

It's no wonder my skin reacts badly sometimes and feels extra dry after bathing. I'm just so glad I don't have to drink it!! YUK!!
