Still Going

Just thought I would give a quick update as there really isn't much happening on the P front. I'm as itch as usual and as flaky too. In fact I cannot believe the amount of scales I have on my legs at the moment. It looks horrid and I dare not pick them too much as they may bleed. So for now I am rubbing them in the hope that they fall off. I hope that I don't leave too much of a trail of where I have been in the house rofl.

I did my baking today. I'm still on 3 minutes 45 seconds. I did burn the other day so that was a bonus. If all keeps going as well as it has been I might put it up 4 minutes 30 seconds on Friday. It's now getting to the point where I have to read again while baking or I get bored to death. At least I am getting 12 minutes of uninterrupted reading!

Oh I almost forgot the P on my palms is fading quite nicely. I can still see them but they are improving. At least the daivonex is working. Too bad it's not as effective ALL over!!

P on my Palms

Oh boy after all the itching and stuff these past few days my skin has finally settled down a little. Although I am not happy about the palms of my hands. I now have P on both palms and it is slowly getting bigger. I've been using daivonex on it and that seems to have helped a little. It's still there just not as angry looking.

Yesterday I upped my UV dosage to 3 minutes. And thankfully I did NOT burn, which is ALWAYS a good thing. With that and making sure I am using my lotions and potions my P is looking better than it has in ages. I went through a huge flare over Christmas. I don't know if it was due to the stress of the Christmas break or because of my break for baking. Who knows but I am improving which is great! Those huge silvery scales are gone for now. Not sure how long that will last.

I was meant to go and get some bloods done sometime this week but I haven't made it to the pathology place yet. I will have to remember to go tomorrow .. once the school run is over!! Yay school is back!!! Things have just not gone to plan so far this week ... here's why!

Yesterday we headed off to Mid Valley Shopping Centre, about 60 km (38 miles) from home, to do a bit of shopping. I wanted to but a new pair of school shoes for No.1 son. Boy did we have a terrible time, well maybe not terrible but very unfortunate. The car was making this weird noise and there was smoke coming out of the exhaust. I pulled over straight away just outside of Morwell. I am so grateful that Mark was with me though because I wouldn't have known what to do! Thankfully all that was wrong was a broken heater hose and Mark was able to repair it once we made it into town and bought the parts and the tools he required for the job. It was a real blessing that it wasn't something more serious.
We did manage to make it to BigW where the shoes were on sale and then we went straight home. I got Mark to drive though as I didn't trust the car at that stage just in case something else went wrong.
Today I took No2. son with me to Lang Lang to organise his new glasses. Thankfully everything went right today but I was very wary about driving the car such a long way but everything was fine. At least the little dude is very happy about his new glasses and we should be able to collect them next week.
